This was probably the WRONG day to go up on the mountain, it was FREEZING down here and the top was frigid, but the colors were so lovely and I knew they would be gone after a few days of those temps, so we bundled up and drove on up. It was fun, but we only lasted a little while, about 3/4 of a mile down the trail before we couldn't feel our fingers. Still, everyone considered it a success when we showed Daddy the results!!! SO beautiful!! There were 2 other groups with professional photographers up there, they both commented on how cute the kids were....well, DUH!!!! Ha ha ha!
