Fun with the Camera

OK, so while I was cleaning, preparing for camp sessions, cleaning, whatever I was doing, one little Miss and a certain little Mr. got their little grubbies on my camera. Now, I could have gotten spit-fired mad, but luckily I scrolled through the pics they had taken, and they were pretty stinkin' cute! They did take very good care of the camera too. So, while they WERE being pretty mischevious, I let it slide. Their silly faces and funny poses were pretty amazing. brandon wasn't too thrilled about the ones taken from such a great height---those were sitting astride the TOP of the fort... hmmmm. ;)

Summer Reading Program

Wow! We had so much more fun this summer doing this than we have ever had!!! I'm sure every public library does a summer reading program, it's the best thing ever!! SOme years the incentives were coupons or tickets to things around town, treats, and whatnot. Local companies being so generous. This year it was that plus a real book, whichever one you wanted from hundreds on a designated shelf! Bethany got her own HP and the Deathly Hallows and a Gaurdian's book. The others got VERY cool books too, but these were awesome,current titles! It was so excited to fill up that chart and get to choose those books! Someone in our community must have been VERY generous indeed! thank you, thank you!!!

Saving the Pink Skunk and Princess

Yes, you guessed it, it's theater camp time again!! I SO love this week!! This year the kids came up with this story of the pink skunk--Lindsay and the princess. Bad guys chase, good guys follow, good prevails and the bad are brought to wacky justice, it's a GREAT play!! Enjoy!!

Aunties and Cousins, Oh JOY!!!

Aunt Sue stayed in the Valley for awhile to be with Great-Greandma and Great-Grandpa Jones and to hang out with her cute sisters, Janice and Jeri. Whenit was time for her to drive home, they all made an adventure out of it!! Their first stop: HERE!!!!! We got to spend the morning with them and send them off with cookies and treats and fun pictures!!! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Shannon! I hadn't seen Brandon's cousin, Daniel, since he was maybe 8 or 9 when we very first got married. He lives in New York now and lives on Manhatten Island! Small world! Anyway, it was so much fun to get to be with them and spend some time chatting before they went on their way!! And can I just say, MY Husband is the HANDSOMEST in the WORLD!!!!!
